I regularly appear in the Magistrates’ Court in both civil and criminal matters. These include:

Civil (such as contract/commercial disputes, debt claims, IVO, property law and enforcement of judgments-Instalment Orders/Attachment of Earnings) and
Criminal (such as drink driving, theft, assault)
I also appear in the County Court in plea hearings. This includes matters relating to theft, sexual assault, obtaining financial advantage by deception, and dishonesty including fraud.

In the Supreme Court I have run Part IV and Confiscation Act matters.

I appear in interlocutory applications including summary judgment applications and pleading summons applications; directions hearings; mentions and contested hearings in the Magistrates’, County and Supreme Courts. I also appear at VCAT and VOCAT. I am regularly briefed to advise generally and draft documents.

I also appear at mediations including Part IV claims. I have extensive experience in will disputes, neighbourhood disputes, retail and residential leases, and general contractual issues.

I appear across Melbourne and all of Victoria.

I am the Vice-Chairman of the AFL Victoria Tribunal and I am a director of the Australian Italian Lawyers Association Inc. (AILA). I formerly sat on the Victorian Turf Cricket Association (VTCA) Tribunal, including as Chair.

Before coming to the Bar 2005, I was a solicitor at a busy suburban practice where I got experience in a wide range of legal practice. This included matters relating to wills and probate, commercial/contractual disputes, residential and retail leases, property law, summary crime, and so on.
