Ursula practises exclusively in the areas of wills and estates, equity and trusts. She regularly represents litigants at mediations, appears in the Supreme Court and County Court for trials and applications, prepares Court documents and advises on deceased estates, trusts and related matters.
Ursula has appeared in trials in matters regarding testamentary capacity, suspicious circumstances surrounding the making of wills, passing over an executor, trust claims, court authorised wills, Part IV claims, informal wills, professional negligence in relation to estate matters and on behalf of the Legal Services Commissioner in disciplinary proceedings involving the administration of deceased estates.
Ursula has presented numerous papers to various groups on topics related to succession law and has written papers published in the Wills and Probate Bulletin.
Ursula is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and is a Nationally Accredited Meditator.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Ursula completed articles at the Crown Solicitor’s Office in 1997/1998, has worked at both the Magistrates’ Court and the Family Court and was employed as a commercial/civil litigation solicitor for six years.
