Since being called to the Bar in 2002, Dee Brooker has gained extensive experience in various areas of law, including employment and industrial law. Dee has worked as a Conciliator with the Fair Work Commission and prior to 2010 appeared regularly in all matters of family law.

In 2016, Dee's career shifted towards the Children's Court, where she quickly became a preferred Counsel. Dee regularly appeared in the Children's Court Family Division for the DFFH predominately Goulburn Valley and this work, provided her with the opportunity to combine her passion for aviation with her work at the Bar.

During the Covid pandemic, Dee appeared regularly via Webex for PAEC, Mentions, Readiness Hearings and Conciliation Conference matters, regional.

Post Covid, Dee accepts DFFH briefs in Contest work, both regional and Melbourne.
